I joined WorkSpan, as the 8th full-time employee, in 2015. We had $1.25 million in seed funding, and we all worked in the same room. Over four years later, I was working with colleagues located around the world, and we had just closed a $30 million series C round of funding. From Member of Technical Staff to Architect, I grew into a leadership role on the frontend team. I was responsible for the designs, architecture, implementation, and testing of the majority of the UI and middle layers. I led the frontend team meetings and provided education and documentation on our architecture and development patterns.
I programmed and delivered 100s of features across the WorkSpan platform and at the application layer. Everything from authentication to real-time reusable action components.
I was fortunate to build large portions of WorkSpan’s 5 productized applications (out of 7).
