Early Human Wall Painting

This piece was inspired by early human cave paintings. This painting is a landscape on a 4×8″ beam using only the ash from cigarette butts.

I liked the idea of creating something good from something considered destructive (smoking cigarettes).

You might be able to see the following landscape features:

  • a river
  • a snow covered lake
  • trees
  • aurora borealis (northern lights)
  • a waterfall
  • snow-capped mountains
  • the beginning of a river delta
  • boulders
  • a barn
  • hay bales

This piece is featured on my front balcony.
